8.Description: Jammin is clear ahead of Luis approaching the starboard leeward gate mark. Jammins manoeuvres to gain on PEYO ahead of him made the timing of the overlap very close. But from Jammins view.. Luis had to give Jammin 'mark room' under 18.2b. Jammin checked the in-game radar to confirm that Luis had not gained an overlap before Jammin entered the zone. Luis was indeed green on Jammins radar. After confirming this.. Jammin focused on gaining an inside advantage on PEYO. Looking at the replay it is very close... but as rrs 18.2e states "If there is reasonable doubt that a boat obtained an overlap in time, it shall be presumed that she did not." So aware of this and seeing the confirmation of the nadeo umpire on radar Jammin asked for cancellation of the pen 10 given by nadeo. Luis had no rrs 10 rights as 18.2b supersedes 10 in this situation as this is a common nadeo glitch to give pen 10 here.

8.Description: When I was approaching the mark I got mark-room (in the radar of picture "P JAMMIN") Jammin Dovetails didn´t give enough space at the mark. He got a penalty under rule number 10. He requested me cancelation under rule number 10 and I accepted before the limited time.

If that is indeed evidence (very loose evidence imho with such a small image and such thick lines) that you had mark room as I entered the zone... Luis I would be green (keep clear boat) on your radar. Not Red (right of way boat) as I am in your screenshot. Can you show a radar image 2 seconds later when I am clearly in the zone? Am I red or green at that point?

Remember I was doing a sharp turn as i entered the zone meaning my stern overlap line (yellow line in your radar image) was changing angle quickly and please read rrs 18.2e which states "If there is reasonable doubt that a boat obtained an overlap in time, it shall be presumed that she did not."

I merged these two topics, as it's the same situation.

PS! It's not necessary to protest a boat that is cancelling a penalty in MLS.
A cancellation is to be considered as a protest by default, unless the other boat took a penalty turn.

Thanks Harald and Luis... That second screenshot is clearly more conclusive from your perspective Luis. And I now understand why you protest.

Ironically this night was the only night I have not ran bandicam! Typical.

However I still maintain that on my screen and radar you where green Luis. Whether there is a difference in the replays due to lag or if sometimes nadeo does this in close calls... that is for the PC to decide.
