Submission Type:
1. Your registered Boat Name: Marino67
2. Race Day: 3
3. Group: Green
4. Race : 9
5. Time (in Replay): 18.16.00
6. Rule(s) applicable: 11
7. Skipper(s) involved: PIOTR 1970 POL VSC
8. Description: At min 17:17 :50 PIOTR1970 POL VSC get a 18.2.a at mark for not giving space to a right-of-way internal boat. Thereafter, instead of keeping clear ( i.e. by releasing sails), PIOTR1970 POL VSC luff toward MARINO67 causing the 11 pen. By doing this PIOTR1970 POL VSC broke rule 22.2 « A boat taking a penalty turn shall keep clear of one that is not » and rule 44.2 « After getting well clear of other boats as soon after the incident as possible .. ».
On purpose I did not raise protest (in case calling for RRS 2) assuming that it was a pure race incident and not an intentional manoeuver …

Dear Committee,
as captain I supported Marino to write his explanation.
By doing this I used the timing (the true time because the replay start 2 min before as all of you well knows) from my Bandicam recording that I likely took in support of MLS staff.
Now I see that Marino is DSQ for the timing (-2 min) , not for what substantially happened.
I'm very disappointed about that.
Pls reconsider your decision.
Thanks
Albervita
