I requested cancellation as I believe it was a mistake by nadeo and possibly a 12 penalty for Petter

Facts:


Donmasino on stb passed HTW to port and back when rounding the mark.
Petter was already above close hauled, and had to luff further to avoid the mark.
When Donmasino completed his tack back to starboard, Petter continued straight and sailed into the stern of Donmasino.

Conclusion/Decision:
Donmasino did not cause Petter to sail above clausehauled, because Petter had to luff further to avoid the mark. Hence no violation of rule 18.3.
Donmasino kept clear of Petter while tacking, hence no violation of rule 13.
Donmasino gave Petter room to keep clear after completing his tack, hence no violation of rule 15.
Petter broke rule 12 and rule 31 (hit the mark) and took a penalty turn.
Cancel accepted. No further action.
